GLOBAL ARTISTS SET TO ROCK NXNE!
North By Northeast Music & Film Festival and Conference
June 12 - 15, 2008
Get ready, Toronto—North by Northeast (NXNE) is about to rock the city with three days of kick-ass new music from around the world. There’s no over-produced, pre-packaged pop and no “greatest hits” at NXNE—instead, you’ll hear great original music you’ve never heard before, from places you might have seen only on the map. Delta blues from Northern England? We got it. Aussie stoner rock? Got that, too. Indian alt-rock, Irish pop, Lebanese punk and more… NXNE bands cover a world of cultures and genres!
So far, more than 30 killer acts from a dozen countries outside North America are set to play at North By Northeast…and we’re not even finished booking yet!
