Kreesha Turner: part of June 14's great Yonge-Dundas Square show
Keep checking the site for a new featured NXNE 2008 artist each week--you might discover one of the 500 whom you somehow missed, or spot a great performer whose showcase you'll never forget.
NXNE 2009 rolls out June 11-14. If you're a performer, remember--it's never too early to start thinking about working on a submission package. Just like in 08, we'll be programming acts from a huge range of genres: rock, yes, but also hip hop, alt-country, punk, electronica, reggae, dance, singer-songwriter, and more. So plan to participate in the best music festival of the year, where everyone can discover their next favourite performer.

Home Middle
Noted for collaborations with the Beastie Boys, Yoko Ono, Beck, and the Yeah Yeah Yeahs, LA's Money Mark delivered a great midnight set to a packed Legendary Horseshoe Tavern on NXNE 08's first night. Backed by a great band, Mark traded his signature keyboards for a guitar during the set.
