Gillian Zulauf is the poster girl for NXNE volunteers. Her love of
music drew her to the fest as a volunteer while still in high
school. She has worked her way up in NXNE by tackling each job
thrown at her with precision, passion, and determination, eventually
joining NXNE’s fulltime ranks. She doesn’t scare easily and has
become an essential part of the team, especially on the Conference.
And she knows the festival inside out, having done almost every job.
Zulauf is a frontline face of the fest and often the first NXNE-er
anyone deals with. This music pro is driven by her love for and
encyclopedic knowledge of cutting-edge music, and spends most nights
checking out fave indie acts and new buzz bands on Toronto club
stages. The Commodore spends her weekend free time on the water
pretending to teach sailing.
