NXNE Managing Director Andy McLean is one of the founders of NXNE.
McLean has been promoting indie music, especially Canadian, around
the world for decades. Like many NXNE staff, McLean doesn’t just
promote music, he makes it. Back in the Bad Hair Decade, McLean was
a key member of Canadian rockers The Tenants. He also helmed Double
Dare and is still an active player with his singer-songwriter wife
Linda McLean’s band. Before becoming such an upbeat guy, McLean was
a real soccer hooligan in his Manchester UK home town.
